When a gorilla named Matilda gets lonely, the zookeepers bring Magilla to the zoo to keep her company, but the gorilla of Magilla's dreams turns out to be a nightmare.

After he makes a mess of the store riding his unicycle, Mr. Peebles decides to donate Magilla to the local zoo, but the gorilla causes general panic when he tries to take a tour of his new home.

Magilla's fairy godmother grants Magilla three wishes. The first is to go to the jungle, the second is to return to the pet store, and the third is to get a lot of bananas.
